Current Managing Director Alex Bruce founded Bruce Taxis back on 1st April 1983, he started out in a small office in Gowan Ave Falkirk with a handful of cars and has progressed over the years to a well-established fleet of over 100 taxis serving the transport needs of a wide variety of clients throughout the Falkirk Area and beyond. 

What has took others 50 years we’ve succeeded in 25!!!!

Building up a great reputation over the years, Bruce Taxis is still essentially a Family Business with Alex two daughters playing fundamental roles within the company. 

Laura has worked with the company since school has worked her way up the ranks and now runs both the Taxis and Wedding & Executive side of the business and Emma has worked at the firm for over 7 years and plays a main role within the Taxi Control room.

Over the years and in particular the last 10 years the business has had to change radically to meet the changing needs of the traveller.  We now supply a wide variety of transport including Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles, 8 Seater Vehicles and Saloon cars to a wide and varied clientele, from the wee old lady going to the shops to the high profile Executives going to the Airport or the safe transport to school for the 5 year old with Disclosure Scotland checked drivers to the disabled passenger who needs that wee bit extra help or indeed a Wheelchair Access vehicle. 

All work is allocated using our Computerised Booking & Dispatch system complete with GPS Navigation ensuring a fast and efficient service to customers and equality and fairness to all drivers.
